the hydroxyl groups of mono and diglycerides. Used as an emulsifier.
A substitute for lecithin (E322) in
Permitted for use in infant formula and follow-on milk and
other foods for infants and young children.
There is concern in some quarters that E472b
and E472c may be carcinogenic.
